March 8, 2003: What a difference a week makes! After a
difficult outing at their first Show Choir competition of the
season last week at Pike, the Counterpoints came back strong this
week at Lawrence Central. Capturing the Caption Awards for Best
Instrumentals and Best Choreography, the Counterpoints finished
as 1st Runner Up just behind Zionsville and just ahead of Sullivan
in a tight three way finish. The North Central Descants also showed
dramatic improvement, finishing as 2nd Runner Up in the Women's
Show Choir competition.
Congratulations to the Counterpoints, the Descants and to the
always excellent Counterpoints Band!
